The Novel

Well. This whole adventure began back in 2012. The novel was written as a stand alone book. Along the way, this blog was born and a multitude of short stories were begotten. Next thing we knew, we had a wonderful anthology of short stories all rooted in this fantastical dystopian universe. From feral humans, sophisticated villains, mutant heroes, and people who just wanted to live on their own terms – the ever-expanding cast of characters never ceases to amaze me.

But now we have this novel – which has since been stripped apart and expanded (looking forward) into three. This has truly been fun. I can’t wait to see what happens after that. Maybe we will revisit some of the characters born in the anthology, and create their own novels. Or maybe a graphic novel if we ever find the right artist. Maybe another anthology?

I just wanted to say: thanks for reading. I promise more content. And these stories will keep getting better as my writing skills also improve. I loved creating this universe and will continue to expand and innovate.

I have a zillion other ideas too. Other universes to explore. Thank god Kaisy Is around to keep me focused on one thing at a time.
